Royal Palm Country Club

Located in Naples. In 1972, Cornelius Vander Lely, a native of Holland, purchased more than 25,000 acres of land in Southeast Collier County bounded by Rattlesnake Hammock Road, U.S. 41 and Route 951. Mr. Vander Lely then formed Lely Estates Inc. and began to develop a golf course.The golf course was named Lely Royal Palm Country Club. The championship 18-hole golf course opened on December 31, 1975.

Royal Palm is an 18-hole private course built by designer David Wallace. It features bermuda grass fairways and Tiff Eagle grass greens. The signature hole is #3. It requires an uphill tee shot with an over-water approach shot to the green. The golf initiation fee is just $12,500! It is a beautiful golf course, known by locals as "the Hidden Gem" . . . for good reason.
